Airport Catering is the largest independent provider of catering and provisioning services in Serbia, with production capacity of over 30.000 meals per day. Located at privileged Belgrade Airport zone, few steps from the international gates, Airport Catering is proud airline and ground catering service provider.

Food Safety

From concept creation and food preparation to passenger satisfaction, we have an outstanding track record when it comes to quality. Quality, safety and security are fundamental priorities to the company and it has comprehensive management structures, policies, values and principles that focus on these issues.

The day-to-day operations are governed by strict quality standards and systems that live up to both airline customer and passenger expectations on a consistent basis, while meeting all applicable international and regional laws and regulations:

*Certificate issued by Civil Aviation Directorate in 2006, according to which Airport Catering has permit to provide catering services to all domestic/international airlines at Airport Nikola Tesla

* HACCP standard was implemented in 2006, issued by reputable Swiss institute SGS. Every year SGS is conducting audit of the HACCP certificate.

* ISO 22000 standard implemented. Every 3rd year audit is successfully passed and recertified

* ISO 22000 standard implemented. Every 3rd year audit is successfully passed and recertified.

* Halal meals are offered from 2010 in cooperation with Halal Serbia, in order to provide special meals to clients’ specific requirements.

QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

AERODROM KETTERING D.O.O. The entire business of the company is devoted to constant progress and control of food safety, the effectiveness of which is evaluated and confirmed internally and externally. The company believes that everyone who is employed at AERODROM KETTERING D.O.O. is responsible for achieving food safety, and it is reflected through the performance of business obligations and building relationships with interested parties. The safety of food products is the responsibility of every employee who has direct contact with ingredients, packaging, production, storage and transport. The food safety policy establishes the following business principles related to the production of a quality and health-safe product: • Production of products that meet the highest standards regarding the safety of food products and meet all the requirements of local regulations for a healthy and safe product; • Active participation of management at all levels in creating an environment suitable for continuous improvement of product quality and safety; • Process approach and team work to achieve planned and contracted jobs; • Introducing a food safety strategy into the business plan, with the aim of ensuring that the food safety policy remains an integral part of the operation; • Setting annual measurable goals regarding the safety of food products, with the aim of ensuring constant progress and compliance with all standards; • Achieving sustainable performance in terms of the quality and safety of food products through the implementation and certification of food safety management systems that meet all the requirements of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP systems; • Reviewing and constantly improving these systems in accordance with all requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP systems, market requirements, needs and satisfaction of our customers, local standards and legal regulations related to health and safety of food products; • Obtaining modern IT and communication resources, production equipment, infrastructure and environment for pleasant work; • Confirmation of the effectiveness of the food product safety management system through internal and external process audits; • Constant monitoring of all processes, as well as constant improvement of the process, leads to a reduction in the risk of non-compliant products and customer complaints, and thus to the fulfillment of expectations and strengthening of customer trust; • Unreserved involvement of the management and full involvement of all employees in the realization of the process and their constant education, training, improvement, specialization and motivation; • Carrying out constant reviews of policy, standards and procedures regarding the safety of food products in order to effectively manage risks; • Communicating aspects and requirements regarding the safety of food products to all suppliers, procurement of raw materials is carried out exclusively from approved suppliers who have implemented an appropriate control system of their business as part of their activity; • Nurturing and developing partnership relations with suppliers; • Communicating our food safety strategy to all employees and all interested parties; • Creating an environment where all employees are trained to handle products safely as part of their job duties. As the top management of this company, we undertake to respect the content of the Food Safety Policy.
